The Pyrgos Melissourgou is located since the 17th century, in the southern part of Attica (Lagonisi) just 15 minutes from Athens International Airport, on the road to the archaeological site of Cape Sounion, and is 1,000 meters from the sea offering wonderful views and unique sunsets.
HISTORY
It is one of the oldest, perhaps the most historic private residences in Greece, still preserved in excellent condition and belonging to the same family since 1836.
Within 60 acres of privately owned land, apart from the 350 year old Tower with its Museum furnishings and atmosphere, there are a number of buildings, stables, outbuildings, wells and other auxiliary spaces. One of them, the old oil mill, a unique example of an oil factory of the early century in Attica, is preserved with all its equipment in quite good condition until today.
